Administration
The Buda Fire Department administrative staff oversee the day to day operations of the department. The administrative offices are located at Station #1 at 209 Jack C. Hays trail. Office hours are between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

CLAY HUCKABY CHIEF, No.301 Chief Huckaby is a seventeen year veteran of the Buda Fire Department. Huckaby joined the Buda Volunteer Fire Department in 1993 as a volunteer and eventually worked his way up through the ranks to Assistant Chief. In 2003, Huckaby was appointed Fire Chief of the Buda Fire Department. Chief Huckaby is a graduate of the Texas Fire Chief Academy and holds a degree in Business Management from Concordia University at Austin. In 2009, Chief Huckaby was named Citizen of the Year by the Buda Area Chamber of Commerce and was awarded Texas Fire Chief of the Year by the Texas Fire Chiefs Association in 2010. |

MIKE DUFFEY DIVISION CHIEF – FIRE PREVENTION, No.303 Chief Duffey currently serves as Fire Marshal for Hays County ESD #8. He is primarily responsible for enforcing the fire code as adopted by the ESD and the community. This includes inspections, fire investigations and reviewing building plans for new businesses. Chief Duffey began his career with the Buda Fire Department in 1984 as a volunteer. In 2007, Chief Duffey was promoted to Fire Marshal/Division Chief of Fire Prevention after serving as Captain with the Buda Fire Department since 2004. |

MOLISSA ENDICOTT EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CHIEF Molissa has been an invaluable asset to the Buda Fire Department since 2009. Molissa is responsible for all department administrative duties including budgeting, payroll and Human Resources. She has degrees in Accounting and Administration of Public Entities and is currently pursuing her EMT accreditation. |
