Our mission is to preserve lives and property in our community by providing services directed at the prevention and control of fires, accidents, and emergency services, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, efficiency, and effectiveness. We will actively participate in our community, serve as role models and strive to effectively and efficiently utilize all the necessary resources at our command. It is the goal of the Buda Fire Department to provide a caliber of emergency services that exceeds the expectations of the residents of our District and to responsibly utilize the funding provided by the citizens of Hays County Emergency Service District #8.
