BECOMING A VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER

 

Currently, the Buda Fire Department is NOT accepting new volunteer members. If you are interested in becoming a TCFP certified firefighter, please check out the Fire Academy section of this site for information about the upcoming Fire Academy Class No. 4 starting this fall.

Volunteer requriements are as follows:

 

• You must reside in the Buda Fire District

 

• You must be 18 years of age or older

 

• You must have a valid drivers license, and be a U.S. Citizen

 

• No previous felony convictions (Must pass extensive backround check)

 

• Must be available the Second and Fourth Monday's of every month from 7pm - 10pm

 

• Must complete the BFD volunteer fire cadet school
